As a celebration of www.BCSpiritBear.com launching it’s new
Kermode Spirit Bear website, they are announcing a

Kermode Snow Bear Contest

“Kermode Snow Bear Contest”
for kids ages 13 and under.
One hundred dollar prize!

Any child 13 and under, living in the Great Bear Rainforest
area may submit a photo of their
Kermode Snow Bear to info@bcspiritbear.com
before March 15 2010.

$100.00 to the winner!
As well as their winning photo published
online and local news publications.

Three different judges (not us) will decide
the winner based on;

-Creativity

-Originality

-Kermode Spirit Bear Likeness

Tips;
-Your Kermode Snow Bear does not have to be any particular size.
-Wait for a wetter snow, dry powdery snow doesn’t build well.
-Leave your surface rough as you build, snow sticks to itself better if rough.
-Have salt available for around the bear as the compacted snow will quickly turn to ice.
 Be safe first!
-It’s OK to use props like scarves, rocks for eyes and nose and boards to help hold up
 any spaces under the bear.
-You can build more than one if you like, build a family of Kermodes, it’s all for the photo!
-Take a digital photo set on highest resolution for a better photo.
-If you don’t have a digital camera, it’s OK to mail a regular photo or polaroid to post office
 box mentioned above.
-Put yourself in the photo with the bear for relativity of size.
